About Miriam
Miriam Stichel was raised in the small city of Moers in Germany. Growing up in a challenging household, she often retreated to her room, where she found solace in writing. Her passion for storytelling began at the age of nine, and by eleven, she started to invent games and writing poetry.
At thirteen, Miriam started working as a part-time babysitter and volunteered at summer camps during the holidays. By the time she was seventeen, she had begun writing song lyrics and launched an online magazine called JUST. The magazine quickly grew, bringing together a team of eight, including journalists.
In 2002, Miriam moved from Germany to London, UK, to work as a nanny. Throughout her time in London, she continued to write, though she often doubted her abilities as a writer. Despite facing personal challenges, including abuse and betrayal, she remained steadfast in her mission to spread love and kindness through her work.
After many years of working in childcare, marketing, and toy design, Miriam’s health declined, forcing her to step away from her career. In early 2024, her condition worsened, leading to a personal crisis. However, with the help of someone who intervened at a crucial moment, she decided to give life another chance.
That summer, inspired by friends who believed in her talent, Miriam began her journey into self-publishing, bringing her stories to life and sharing them with the world.
